On 10 May 2023 the SeasFire team participated in the AI4EO Workshop on Natural Hazard Management, co-organized by the European Space Agency’s Φ-lab, the National Observatory of Athens, Harokopio University of Athens and the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry. Join the SeasFire team on 10 May 2023 for a Workshop on AI4EO for Natural Hazards Management, co-organized by ESA Φ-lab, the National Observatory of Athens, Harokopio University of Athens and Max Planck Institute of Biogeochemistry.
On 19 April 2023, Ioannis Prapas presented the research done in SeasFire on subseasonal to seasonal wildfire forecasting at the ITU Webinar “Fighting wildfires with AI-powered insights”, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in collaboration with Orora Technologies, the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Digital Futures.
